Bennie Charles "Treetop" Jones, age 87, of Hernando, MS, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Lienda Jones; and his daughter, H. Elizabeth Jones. He is survived by his son, John Charles Jones; daughter-in-law, Wanda Jones; daughter, Delta Suzanne Jones; granddaughters: Ferrol Thomas and Julia Hale; great-grandson, John Emerson Thomas; and cousin, Coy Jeffcoat. Mr. Jones was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Little Rock, MS. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Thursday October 29, with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m.. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Road.
