Bennie Bruce Wildman died peacefully May 1, 2022, at his home in Southaven, Ms. He was born August 27, 1934 to the parents of John Baxter Wildman and Elizabeth Pearl Wildman.

Bennie worked as a local truck driver and dock worker at Jones Truck Line in Memphis, TN, he retired in 1991. After retirement he became an active member of the Desoto County Search & Rescue Unit of the Sheriffs Department. He was so diligent in his work that he was appointed Lieutenant in June of 1996. Besides being a hard worker, Bennie enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. He also was a saved and active member of Bethel Baptist Church in Memphis, TN/Walls, MS for 54 years. His life was an example of Christian values and morals, his faith was so strong! Bennie was a good, kind, and respectful husband to his wife Dora Wildman for 64 years and was good father who set the example for his sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren to follow. He always showed much love to them all. We were ALWAYS in his daily prayers.

Bennie is proceeded in death by his wife Dora Wildman, his son Michael Wildman, both his parents: Elizabeth and John Wildman, his brothers: James, William, Charles, and Robert Wildman, and his sister Roberta Wildman Sims. He leaves behind in love his sister Patricia Wildman Nance of Memphis, TN and his son Curtis Wildman of St. Cloud, FL, five grandchildren: Sarah Wildman, Sandi Peele, Christopher Wildman, Tammi Wildman and Jessica Wildman, as well as 9 great grandchildren.

Bennie will always remain deeply loved by his family and friends forever!
