Mrs. Bertha Covington Barry, 100, passed away June 23, 2015 at Greenfield Senior Living. A retired teacher from the Memphis City Schools, she is survived by her son, Thomas (Abigail) Price; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, her husband, a daughter, and grandson, two sisters, and one brother. Family and friends will gather to share memories, 9-10 am, Saturday, followed by services at 10 am. Both will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
