Bertha Downey Draughon, born March 4, 1930, passed on to her reward April 10, 2022, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her late husband Gerald Draughon, Sr.; her parents Virgil & Louise Downey; her brothers Virgil Downey, Jr. & Richard Downey; and her sister Mary Lou Moss. She is survived by two sons, Gerald Draughon, Jr. & Terry Draughon (Lauri), one sister Barbara Purvis, 4 grandchildren, & 8 great-grandchildren.

Bertha was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, grandmother, & friend. She was a member of the Forest Hill Church of Christ.

A remembrance will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home on April 14th with visitation at 1:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East.
