Bertha Pauline Sparks, 88, of Memphis, entered into her eternal rest and reward on Friday, April 25, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday May 2 at Colonial Hills Church in Southaven, MS with visitation Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mrs. Sparks was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Sparks.; sons Clyde Sparks, Jr. and Russell Sparks; daughter, Pamela Sparks and granddaughter, Eve Sparks. She leaves two sons: Don and Dennis Sparks; one sister, Joann P. Parker; 7 grandchildren: Caleb, Kendi and David Sparks, Stephanie Sparks Tanner, Aimee Sparks Goedecke, Christina Sparks Smouse and Jonathan Sparks; great-grandchildren: Hausten Comeaux, Kolton Goedecke, Carmella and Sean Smouse and one soon to be born.
