Bessie L. Pugh, 91, of Bartlett, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.  She was a lifelong Methodist, an active member of the UMW, a devoted wife and mother, also wonderful homemaker and talented seamstress.

Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, Ollis and Mattie Sherrill; two sisters, Thelma Kirk and Mary Lou Needham; also, two brothers, Bob Sherrill and Gene Sherrill.

Bessie leaves her husband of 75 years, Bobby G. Pugh; four daughters, Pam Hicks (Marlin) of Cowan, TN, Jane Speed (Charles) of Germantown, TN, Amy Radford (Bob) of Bartlett, TN, and Susan Jones (Steve) of Memphis.  five grandchildren, Tami Murphy (Dan), Jason Hicks (Rachel), Jeff Radford (Jana), Lily Wilcox, and Audrey Wilcox; six great-grandchildren, Amanda Bond (Mitch), Ashley Murphy, Aidan Hicks, Wyatt Hicks, Cooper Radford, Palmer Radford; two great-great-grandchildren, Everett and Avery Bond; two sisters, Laura McCollough of Drummonds, TN, and Inez Mills of Randolph, TN; also, many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials are sent to Ave Maria Employee Holiday Fund 2805 Charles Bryant Rd. Bartlett, TN 38134.
