Bessie Lou Wilson, 82, of Abbeville, MS formerly of DeSoto County, MS passed away on December 6, 2016 at Baptist Hospital, Oxford. Mrs. Wilson was a retired seamstress, homemaker and a member of Abbeville First Baptist Church. Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Wilson; daughter, Linda Galbreath and brother, Darrell Ridge. She leaves two sons: Gary Turner (Nancy) of Noblesville, IN and Jerry Moon
of Abbeville, MS; one sister, Cate Hargrove of Adamsville, TN; three brothers: Jerry Ridge of MO, Curtis Ridge of AZ and Bobby Ridge of GA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 9 at Forest Hill South with service 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
