Bette G. Holloway, born November 23, 1929, went to be with her Lord on August 22, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Joe Holloway, daughters Carol Adams and Gayle Buckman, son Mark Holloway and sister Bobbe Oliver. She also has 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Ruth Gaskin. Bette graduated from Mississippi State College for Women with a BS degree and major in Spanish. She retired from First Tennessee Bank Trust Department after 41 years. She recently joined Trinity Baptist Church and became a resident of Robinwood Retirement Resort. She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, August 30 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 31 at Trinity Baptist Church. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund, 8899 Trinity Road, Memphis, TN 38108.
