Betty Haynes Boyd, of Memphis, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2025. She was born on February 11, 1932, in Joiner, AR

Betty was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family and always enjoyed spending time with them. She graduated from Ripley High School, class of 1951.  She met the love of her life, Donald Boyd, in 1952. Their love story began then and their courtship consisted of writing love letters to each other, an engagement and marriage on August 14th,1954 at First Assembly of God Church. Don and Betty were faithful members of the First Assembly of God Church until their passing's. She loved babysitting and traveling with her family... She served as a superintendent for Sunday School and was involved in the bus ministry through the 1980's and 1990's . She was a faithful prayer warrior and a Godly example to her children and family.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years Donald Ray Boyd; parents Jacob Sanford and Katie Bell Haynes; brothers, Carey Haynes, James Haynes; and sister, Peggy Maness.

Betty leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Donald Stephen Boyd and Anthony Lewis Boyd; two grandchildren, Mindy Kaye Baier (Michael Baier) and Kelli Renee Williford (John Williford); and five great grandchildren, Clara Williford, Tucker Baier, Lincoln Williford, Bonnie Williford, and Graham Williford. She also leaves her brother Lewis Haynes of Sacramento, CA.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed dearly and will be in our hearts forever.
