Betty J Carter of Memphis, TN, flew away to be with the Lord on February 17, 2021 at 92 years old. She was a member of Glenn's Chapel in Walls, MS. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles Carter, Sr.; daughter, Betty Lee Carter; son, George Vincent Carter; mother, Cleo Cummings; and brother, John D. Cox. She is survived by her son, Charles V. Carter, Jr., 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Forest Hill South.
