Obituary
Betty Thomas Humphries, 78, of Cordova, TN passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at Methodist Germantown Hospital.
Ms. Humphries grew up in Memphis and was a 1966 graduate of Humes High School. She retired after 50 years from the Salvation Army in Memphis where she worked in many positions at the Adult Rehabilitation Center.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Alice Haslip Thomas, and her husband John T. Humphries.
She leaves her sister, Mary Jean Thomas of Cordova and brother, Richard Thomas also of Cordova.
