Betty J. Jenkins, 68, of Memphis, TN, departed her earthly home on June 18, 2013 to rest in eternal peace with our Lord and Savior. Her presence will truly be missed. Mrs. Jenkins retired from the Shelby County Health Care Center and AmeriCare where she worked as a CNA. She was loved by many, especially her five children. Mrs. Jenkins leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Aaron Jenkins; two daughters, Stephanie and Cindy; three sons, LaRodney, Marvin, and Reginald and five grandchildren. Visitation will be 3 - 5 p.m., Friday at Forest Hill Midtown Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Greater Community Temple Church of God in Christ, 924 North Dunlap.
