Betty Ann Mannon Darden, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2020. Betty was born on July 26, 1931 in Memphis,Tennessee. She married Carroll G. Mannon on August 11, 1950 and they had four children.  She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She always had a sweet, kind and loving spirit.

Betty is proceeded in death by her parents, brother Harry Gwyn Jr., sisters Loraine Atkinson and Gloria Oliver. Her husband Carroll G. Mannon of 38 years and her second husband Billy Darden.

Betty is survived by her four children Rick Mannon, Dan Mannon, Tim Mannon (Jennifer) and Carol Ann Mannon Pike, Nine Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by step children Bubba Darden, David Darden (Valerie) and Sandy Darden Walker and their children.

Unfortunately due to the Pandemic there will only be a  private graveside service for Betty's immediate family. This will be held at Forest Hill East 2440 Whitten Road on Thursday, April 2, 2020 .

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Betty at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Betty's name to the COPD Foundation or the American Heart Association.
