Betty Jean Millette of Southaven, Mississippi went home to Jesus on 10 August 2024 at the age of 96. She was born in Hunter, Missouri on 25 April 1928 to Chester and Myrtle Secrease. Betty had a love for playing the piano, planting flowers and decorating her home. She retired after working over 20 years for the Sears Roebuck Company located at the Southland Mall working in the Ladies Sportswear Department. She also was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cordova, Tn.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband Clem Millette, sons Bobby and Tony Millette as well as brother Chester Secrease Jr and sisters Joyce Childers and Barbara Beasley.

She is survived by sons Timmy and Kevin Millette, Sister Vicki Brower, grandchildren Timothy Millette, Stephanie Bogan, Jennifer Battaglia, and Marion Millette, and four great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on 16 August 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home-Midtown, 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, Tennessee with internment at Forest Hill cemetery-South on Holmes Rd.
