Betty Stewart Parrish passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 30, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bob Parrish; her parents, Bruce and Bessie Stewart; her six brothers:  BC, James, Jack, Howard, Robert and Frank.  She leaves behind her daughter, Vicky (Bryan) Molnar of Gahanna, OH; two grandsons, Christopher (Hollyann) Chatfield of Oakland, TN and Timothy (Rachel) Chatfield of Pataskala, OH; and their daughter, her great grand daughter, Victoria Chatfield.   She also leaves behind seven dear friends she loved and adored:  James Proctor, Betty Bogan, Nita Joy Goss, Virginia Garavelli Dalton, Nina Cole, Carol and Nick Howard.

She was a graduate of Whitehaven High School.  She retired from General Motors-AC Delco Division, where she was office manager for 30 years.  She enjoyed working in her yard and taking trips with her friend James Proctor.  She was a member at Oakland Presbyterian Church, Daughter of the Nile (inactive), and the 1950's Whitehaven High School Chapter, Red Hat Society.

The visitation and funeral will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whiten Road on Friday, December 7, 2018, 1:00-2:00 PM, with her funeral service at 2:00 PM, and burial to follow.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her honor to Oakland Presbyterian Church in Oakland, TN.
