Betty "Jerrye" Rush, 84, of Oakland, TN passed away peacefully in the presence of her loved ones on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015. She was born May 24, 1931 in Decatur County, TN. Widower of Gene RushÍ survived by her daughter, Nina Rush Saunders and son Tate Rush and wife DeborahÍ grandchildren, Chad and Ashley Rush, Alexandria Saunders, Daniel and Matthew GoodwinÍ sisters, Evelyn Moore and Flip Forsythe. She was a dedicated employee of Cardiovascular Specialists and a breast cancer survivor. Jerrye enriched many lives here on Earth and now in the afterlife. A private family graveside service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park East. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Susan G. Koman Foundation.
