Betty Jo Snyder, 85, of Memphis, TN, passed away on January 10, 2017. She was born on April 19, 1931 in Whiteville, Tennessee to Walter and Matilda Simmons. Mrs. Snyder was a retired Dental Assistant and a longtime member of Berclair Baptist Church. She loved playing bingo, fishing and traveling and her friends at Culpepper Place in Bartlett. Mrs. Synder was preceded in death in 2004 by her husband, Gus Snyder; son, Joe David; sister, Peggy Raines and son in law, Dennis. She is survived by her daughters, Melendy Kelly, Lisa Pine (Lance); sister, Sylvia Tackett; and five grandchildren, Chris Kelly, Jessica Waldrup (Doug), Garrett Terwilleger, Georgia Terwilleger, and Jessica Pine. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East and interment following. The family request memorials be sent to Berclair Baptist Church.
