Betty A. Sloan, 69, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015. She was survived by her husband of 48 years, Marcus Sloan, Jr.; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Rowell(Troy); Amy Sloan Meier(Clint); one son, Robert Marcus Sloan(Laura); four grandchildren, Alexis, Sloan, R.J., and Weston. Betty worked in real estate for 48 years, of which, the last 25 was as a certified real estate appraiser. The family requests that memorial in her name be sent to the White Station/Optimist Club or the charity of the donor''s choice. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Thursday with services at 2 pm, Friday. Both visitation and service will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown, 1661 S. Elvis Presley Blvd.
