Betty B. Steakley, 71, of Senatobia, MS passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017. Ms. Steakley worked 27 years for Baptist Memorial Hospital in the Phlebotomy Department and later she was a Casino hostess for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Steakley; her son, Randy Steakley; her parents, Charles and Pearl Brown; her grandson, Jordan Guess; two sisters: Reba and Bonnie; also three brothers: Harold, BJ and Charles Brown. Betty leaves her daughter, Robin Guess (Mike) of Ooltewah, TN; her son, Darryl Steakley (Carrie) of Senatobia; one sister, Ruby Brown and brother, Larry Brown; five grandchildren: Jessica Guess, DJ, Lauren, Summer and Savanah Steakley; also three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, May 22 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
