Bettye Brown died on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Kennington Pointe, at the age of 87.  She was born on December 16, 1931 in Memphis, TN.  Mrs. Brown worked as a secretary at Malone & Hyde, and was a member of Lindenwood Christian Church.  She is survived by her son, Douglas Brown (Kathleen) of Nesbit, MS; one brother, Billy Glidewell (Nancy) of Germantown, TN; two grandchildren, Alexia Brown and Parker Brown; and three great grandchildren, Addison Brown, Macon Courson, and Sutton Courson.  Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald K. Brown; and her daughter, Pamela Brown.  Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, with the funeral taking place at 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery East.
