Beverly Jean Burrus, 82, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at her home in Austin, AR. She leaves behind two daughters, Cynthia Wedaman (Bill), Karen Burrus; one son, Mike Burrus (Faith); one brother, Gregory Stamper; six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordan and Alberta Stamper; her husband, George Kenneth Burrus; and two brothers, Gordon Stamper and Gary Stamper.

Mom was warm and compassionate, always putting others before herself. Her life was full of those who loved her – a nurturing mother, a doting Nana, and a caring sister, each woven with the threads of love and kindness.

Mom's home was fun loving, LOUD, and filled with the aroma of her delicious cooking. She loved her hummingbirds, Red Bird sightings, and her dogs, who were a constant source of joy. Christmas held a special place in her heart, and she cherished the tradition of hunting for the perfect gifts for each of her grandchildren.

Beverly's departure leaves us with void, but her spirit, forever fun-loving and gentle, continues to inspire us. Her memory will be cherished in our hearts forever.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery.
