Beverly Ann Gambill, 83, of Memphis, Homemaker, passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. Visitation and a celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, July 15 th at Morning Sun Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2682 Morning Sun Rd., Cordova, TN 38016. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by the service at 12:00 p.m. Her cremated remains will be buried next to her beloved husband Marvin at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Beverly was born in St. Joseph, MO, on November 9t h 1937, the sixth of eight children. At the age of 15, she met and married the love of her life Marvin Gambill. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and friend providing unending love and support to her husband and children throughout her life. The ultimate giver and peacemaker, she put everyone else's needs before her own. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Harlan Lucas, mother, Helen Derosset, beloved husband, Marvin F. Gambill, her six brothers, Jack, Harlan Jr. "Bud", Chester "Chet", Donald, Danny and Jerry Lucas, sister, Betty Gresham, granddaughter, Rachel Bramlett, great granddaughter, Kamden Long, brothers-in-law, William "Bill" and Joseph Gambill, sisters-in-law, Shirley, Beverly, and Isabelle Lucas and Lois Piotrowicz. She is survived by her six children, Dennis Gambill (Cathy), Donna Beatley (Sunny), Darrel Gambill (Charrel), Debra Dennehy (partner David Goldsmith), Douglas Gambill (partner Angie Wilson), Dena Jarvis (Steve), grandchildren, Mandy Spencer (Harrell "Spencer"), Justin Gambill (Kristen), Ashley Chafin (Drew), Cynthia Tapia (Dustin), Lorin Long (Tim), and Dalton Jarvis. Great grandchildren, Brooke and Olivia Long, Andrew, Collin and Ryan Chafin, Gracie and Grant Gambill. Sisters-in law, Shirley Jean Orman, Charlotte Lucas and Vera Lucas. Her extended family by marriage (she loved them equally as her own), Grandchildren, Penny Camp (Kevin) and Heather Beatley (partner Donnie Drake), Great grandchildren, Mia and Jack Troyer, Alex England, Kayla and Katelyn Spencer, Great great grandchild Austin Huebner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews throughout the country whom she loved dearly, and last but not least her special friends, Betty Lyons, Kevin Barilli and David Pool. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in support of our veterans.
