In the early morning of April 12th, 2017, Beverly Ann Gatlin, 76, began her glorious eternal life in heaven. She was born in Indianola, Mississippi on January 22nd, 1941. She was the beautiful baby girl of A.C. (Boots) and Frances Ann Barrett and what a joyful reunion in heaven they had on that Wednesday morning. Beverly loved life. She lived life to the fullest. First, and foremost, she loved the Lord. She knew He had a plan for her. She trusted Him as a young girl and she trusted Him until she took her last breath. Those who knew her know she loved line dancing, antiques, dolls, RV trips, entertaining, shopping, Florida trips with her girlfriends, her neighbors, and just being with friends. But they also know that after the Lord, what Beverly loved most was her family. She loved them fiercely. From heaven, we believe she is watching over her family including her husband, Rex Gatlin; her children, Terri Flaherty (Art), Jimmy Wiseman (Cyndi), Griff Gatlin (Rhonda), Gregg Gatlin (Lisa), and her sister, Cindy Barrett. She is also proudly watching over nine grandchildren including Kyle Broadway, Keagin Waugh (Jeremiah), Tosha Mason (Brandon), Trey Wiseman (Brittany), Kolton Poe (Hillary), Hunter Gatlin, Austin Gatlin, Emma Gatlin, Greta Gatlin, and four great grandchildren, Clay and Oakley Mason, Knox Poe, and Nash Wiseman. Her family also included many cousins who loved her dearly as well as countless friends who she counted as family. Last, but not least, is Beverly''s Beach Bunch. I''m sure she is lounging by the crystal waters in Heaven waiting for the days you meet again to begin your Heavenly ventures.
Beverly Gatlin certainly made this world a little sweeter while she was here. We know that the stars are shining brighter in heaven tonight because she is there.
