Beverly LeBlanc Harris was born December 22, 1924 in Abbeville, LA to her parents, Mamie and Roy Leblanc. Beverly attended Seminary College in Shreveport LA. Memphis, TN became home after marrying Richard C. Harris June 25 th 1950. Together they raised 6 beautiful children. Through the years Beverly was President of the Guild at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett, TN and was a key participant in the building of the church as well as other various volunteer positions with the church and school. She was also President of the TN State Dental Association as well as holding various offices in the local Memphis Dental Association and Neighborhood Garden Club. She became a Master Bridge Player and participated in numerous tournaments around the Mid-South. Beverly enjoyed entertaining family and friends and was a wonderful cook. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mamie and Roy Leblanc, husband, Richard C. Harris Sr., son Richard C. Harris Jr. and her brother Roy LeBlanc. She is survived by her children (who all thought they were her favorite child) and their spouses, Benny and Marsha Harris , Ann and Mercer Lee, Mary and Larry Joiner, John and Leigh Harris, Bill and Leighann Harris as well as her 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Beverly's nickname throughout the years was "Saint Beverly" given to her for her unselfish love and dedication to her husband and children. On January 28, 2023 she was called to be with the Lord. In lieu of flowers , donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis TN.
