Beverly S. Kessler, 77, born in Tupelo, MS, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at her home in Bartlett, TN. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Bob Kessler; one daughter, Karen Kessler; one son, Billy (Kim) Kessler; five grandchildren, Anthony (Becca) Kessler, Brad Kessler, Parker Kessler, Grayson Lipsey and Izzy Willfong; and one great grandchild, Laken Lipsey. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mamie Shumpert; and her three brothers Doug Shumpert, Don Shumpert and Mike Shumpert.

Beverly was a loving and caring woman and loved the Lord very dearly. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, playing board games, shopping and in her younger years bowling in two different leagues. Beverly ran a tight ship at home keeping the family fed with her wonderful cooking and keeping her home very tidy and clean. Decorating for the Christmas season was one of her favorite times of the year and looked forward to it every year.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. and funeral services will start at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
