Billie June Ritts, 73, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. She leaves behind one daughter, Bettie Abernathy; one sister, Atha Whitney; one brother, Rodney Hardin; one granddaughter, Megan Abernathy; one great granddaughter, Freya Melone; and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Christine Hardin; one sister, Bettie Young; and one brother, William Hardin.

Billie was a barber and owner of the Lion's Mane in Memphis, TN, where she worked for over 50 years serving thousands of clients. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, building things and cooking, not only for her family but everyone she loved.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 4:00-6:00p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill East Mausoleum with burial to follow at Forest Hill East Cemetery 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.

Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
