Billie Winstead ,62, of Memphis, TN passed away on Sunday, July 07, 2024. She was born in Nauvoo, Alabama on February 02, 1962.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle C. Nix and Callie C. Busby; and one daughter, Sandy Chism.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 20 years and 4 months, Terry Winstead; three daughters, Michell Chism, Kelly Simon (Damien), and Margaret Winstead; three sons, Joe Wayne Winstead, Bobby Randall Chism, and Joshua Wideman; seven sisters, Sharon Keeton, Phyllis Wideman, Marsha Lawrence (Craig), Cindy McQueen (Harold), Pat McGough, Sheila Walker, and Dianne Malone; two brothers, Sammy Busby and Randy Lee Busby; ten grandchildren, Latisha McCollum, Callie Simon, Damiana Simon, Sandy Simon, Michael Anthony Wayne Simon, Jordan Wideman, Bobby Chism, Jr., Briana Chism, Ocean Winstead, and Porter Winstead; and one great grandchild, Harley Cantrell.

Billie was a very Godly woman, had a green thumb, loved flowers, country music, and true crime shows. She would choose gold over silver and lived her life just as vibrant as the colors the she loved. Billie loved to cook and bake, especially Red Velvet Cake with the pecans (because no one in Memphis knew how to properly make one). However, she loved nothing more than her family and friends.
