Billy Don Craig passed away at the age of 84 on January 28, 2026 at Spring Creek Nursing Home in Murray, KY. Billy was born in Ripley, TN on August 23, 1941 to George and Lucy (Howard) Craig.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sue and son Jeffery. He is survived by his wife Nita (Cross) Craig and his daughter Pamela Rene Craig.

After travelling around with his father's work the family settled in Memphis, TN

where Billy went school graduating from Humes High School in 1959. After graduating from Draughon Business College. He went to work at Pennaco Hosiery Co. Retiring from Pennaco after 40 years he work for Orgill Bros. in Memphis.

He enjoyed spending many hours playing table games with his friends in Memphis.

Fifteen years ago we married and were in Memphis for 3 years before moving to Murray, KY for "the fishing." He was an avid Crappie fisherman who loved just catching and releasing them. He loved being here at Kentucky and Barclay Lakes. His best time was while he was out on the lake - it was his quiet time.

Visitation will be at 1:00 Monday, Feb 9th  at Forest Hill Funeral at 2440 Whitten Rd. Memphis, with service at 2:00.
