Billy Charles Dickson, Sr., 86, died peacefully on August 15, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN surrounded by his loving family.  He was born to James and Brooxie Dickson.  He graduated from Whitehaven High School prior to being drafted into the United States Army where he proudly served for two years. He retired in 2003 after 48 years of service with Illinois Central/CN Railroad.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Brooxie Dickson, brothers, James Dickson and Kenneth Dickson, sisters, Barbara Davis and Mildred Cloyd.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ursula Dickson, of 61 years, as well as his son, Billy C. "Chuck" Dickson, Jr. (Mary Nell) of Byhalia, MS, daughter, Sigried Dickson (Scott Tustin) of Lakeland, TN, granddaughter, Capri Tullos (Ephriam Wilkinson IV) of Cordova, TN and three sisters, Mary Talarico (Tommy) of Memphis, TN, Sherry Antwine (Jimmy) of Gadsden, TN and Patricia Faught of Southaven, MS.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to: St. Ann's Bartlett or St. Jude
