Billy W. Goad, 84, of Horn Lake, MS passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, DeSoto. Mr. Goad was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a former Kroger employee and a member of UFCW. He was a bowling enthusiast and loved the St. Louis Cardinals. Billy was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianne "Beth" Raines. He is survived by one daughter, Joy Preslar of Southaven and only surviving sister, Dare Dycus of Mt. Carmel, IL. He was Poppi to 4 grandchildren: Dustin Raines of Cordova, Samantha Preslar of Memphis, Amber and Ben Preslar of Southaven; three great-grandchildren: Dalton, Hannah and Gage Raines of Horn Lake. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 20 with service at 10 a.m. Friday at Forest Hill South, 2545 E. Holmes Rd. Memphis, TN 38118. Interment service will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133 at 12 noon.
