Billye Frances Sullards Morris, 82, of Memphis, TN passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. She was born on February 1, 1930 in DeWitt, AR to the late George and Willie Sullards. Billye was married to Wilton Morris from 1956 until his death in 1997. She was a graduate of Arkansas State College where she was the president of her sorority Alpha Omicron Pi. Billye had a deep love of teaching and was a dedicated school teacher for over 30 years. She continued on with that passion after her retirement by tutoring children. Billye loved watching Arkansas Razorback football, playing bridge and researching her family genealogy. She was a charter member of Crossroads United Methodist Church. In addition to her beloved Wilton and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bob Sullards. She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters-in-law Sandra Sullards of Stone Mountain, GA, Martha Land of Memphis, TN, Sarah Morris of Ridgeland, MS, Dot Sandroni of Marion, AR and Gail Thomson of Heth, AR and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nephews. In her final years she was loved and watched over by nephews Cameron (RoseMary) Sullards of Atlanta, GA, Brooks (Belinda) Sullards of Vidalia, GA, Shane (Stephanie) Sullards of Braselton, GA and nieces Cynthia (Terry) Ray and Laura (Chris) Johnson both of Germantown, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her memory to Crossroads United Methodist Church, 9315 E. Shelby Dr., Collierville, TN 38017. Visitation will be 1-2 P.M., with services to follow at 2 P.M., Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
