Blanche Armstrong, wife of the late Hugh Armstrong, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the age of 92. Blanche was born in Gibson County, TN to Jessee and Stella Dement.

Blanche is Survived by her brother, Thomas Dement.

Blanche was a precious, spirit-filled Christian and inspiration to her family and the many who sought comfort in difficult times. For 57 years, Blanche and Hugh loved, lived, and served the the Lord together. They were members of Frayser and Bellevue Baptist churches.

Blanche is cherished by her daughters Toni Mason and Cherry Mashburn; sons in law, Dale (deceased) and Dan; her grandchildren, Antoinette, Sally, Daniel,and Jamie; and Great-grandchildren, Morgan, Presli, Jaylen, Burkeleigh, and soon to arrive Baby Jessen. Her family feels blessed and privileged to have been hers.

Visitation will be 9 am until service begins at 10 am Monday, April 7 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorials be sent to St.Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
