Obituary

Bobbie Louise (Baker) Plunk, 87, passed away September 4, 2021 after a short illness. Bobbie was born in Sherman, MS and moved to Memphis in her early twenties.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her mother Myrtis Bryant, sisters Jewel Noah (Tommy), Nell Dye (Wayne), and stepbrother Rev. Ray Bryant (Martha), all of Memphis, Tennessee. Bobbie is survived by her daughter Patricia Plunk, and granddaughter Gracie Plunk of Memphis, nieces Joan Fox (David) and family, Beverly Harrison (Pat) and family, longtime friend and caretaker Sherry Tacker, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bobbie was an excellent bookkeeper for Building Materials, Nashville, TN, Budget Sales, Cookeville, TN, Building Materials, Memphis, TN and Hoyle Dowda Accounting.

Bobbie was a long-time member of Bellevue Baptist Church and served faithfully for over 30 years.

She was a friend to many and will be sorely missed.

A private burial service will be held Monday, September 13th with visitation and a memorial service following at Bellevue Baptist Church.
