Bobby Joe Crawford, 84, passed away at home January 1 in New Albany, MS. He was pre-deceased by beloved wife Laura and parents Ellis and Beulah (Lytal) Crawford. He served honorably in the USAF from 1950-54 and worked 36 years for Southern Bell Telephone Company. Bob was a born-again Christian and former member of Highland Heights Baptist, Memphis. Survivors include brother, Mac E. Crawford (Sandra) of Centerville, OH; two nieces: Laurie Courtney (Steve) of Keller, TX and Ellisa Mills (David) of Kettering, OH; one nephew Col. Mac A. Crawford USAF (LeeAnne) of Chesterfield, MI: cousins: Billye Frances Scott and Max Lytal, Baldwyn, MS; Bobby Lytal, Jackson, TN; James Pettigrew, Houston, MS. Services to be held in Memphis at Forest Hill (East) Funeral Home, on Tuesday, January 7 at 2 p.m., family visitation 1 p.m.
