Bobby E. Franks, Sr., 88, of Brighton, Tennessee, passed away on May 4, 2019.  Mr. Franks was a United States Marine Corp Veteran, and was the retired owner of Friends Barber and Style.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Grace Bernice Franks; grandson, Jacob Austin; and great granddaughter, Ava Pate.  Left to honor his memory are his children:  daughters, Diane (Richard) Kelso of Oakland, TN and Sandra (David) Karpinski of Brighton, TN; two sons, Bobby E. (Wanda) Franks of Memphis and Stephen Franks of Memphis.  Mr. Franks was blessed with nine grandchildren:  Chasity Mallet, Don Graham, TJ Reece, David Reece, Kyle Karpinski, Tyler Franks, Nicholas Franks, Lukas Franks, and Brett Nagel; also five great-grandchildren:  Noah Austin, Riley Austin, Trace Hunter Pate, Aubrey Franks, and Paetyn Karpinski.  Visitation with his family will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Road on Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m., with military honors at 2:00 p.m.  His burial will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South.  901-382-1000
