Bobby Lee Green, Sr., 78, of Independence, MS, and formerly of Memphis, went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2014. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his son, Little Bobby Green, Jr. He is survived by three daughters, Maurica Needham (Dennis), Jennifer Lipper (Tim), Cynthia Powell (Charles); two sisters, Faye Lusk, Shirley West; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Friday, October 24 until service begins at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. Memorials may be made to Boston Baskin Cancer Center.
