Bobby Jack Gray, 65, of Bartlett, TN passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020. Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald James Nies and Margarita Laramey Nies; and his brother, Larry Wayne Gray. He is survived by his wife, Victoria Hicks Gray; sons: Robert John Gray(Kori), Christopher Sean Gray, and Scott Andrew Gray; step-children: Trey Williamson(Kim), Erica Roszler(Joe), Carly Williamson, and Hunter Williamson; and 10 grandchildren. Mr. Gray served our country in the US Army. During his time in the Army, he served in Vietnam and Europe. He was in the Special Forces Army Ranger 82 ^nd Airborne Division. He was also an infantry leader, jump master, and drill sergeant. He received many awards and medals including The Purple Heart. After his military service, he had a brief period in law enforcement. He then continued his career in security as a fraud investigator and most recently as a security consultant/contractor. His interests were travel, the arts, theater, good food and wine – all of which he enjoyed sharing with his friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be held in March.
