B obby Joan Bledsoe Lyle was born on Septembe r 11 , 1 9 33 and passed away on Friday , February 7 , 2 020 .

Bobby was the only child and " Fancy Pants " of Nina Ferguson and Robert Bledsoe . She attended Memphis Technical H i gh School . In her early y ears , Bobby was an active member o f Bellevue Baptist Church

She married her late husband , Joe , in 1950 , and they had four children —"Little Joe, K i m, Jack, and Je nn y". B o bby was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church and taking her four children to church was a top priority in her life. After ma n y years of childrearing and homemaking, she filled her time with various frie n d s and jobs in the Memphis, TN area, most notably Saint Francis Hospital and Walker Cleaners, once they relocated to Jack s on, TN. Bobby quickly found a new home church in Poplar Heights Baptist. She housed several of her family members throughout the years, and she spent the final y ears of her life living with her daughter, Jennifer, in Somerville, TN.

Bo bby was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jack Robert Lyle; her daughter, Kim Lyle Scott; and her husband of 67 y ears, Joseph Wilson Lyle, Sr.

Bobby leaves behind two children, Joseph Wilson Lyle, Jr. ( Ann e), Je n nifer Lyle Metcalf (Tom), 10 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
