Obituary

Bobby Yarbrough, 86, of Cordova passed away April 27, 2022.

Bobby was born into a large family of 11 children to Clarence and Vida Belle Yarbrough of Wilson, Ark. on December 9, 1935
He graduated from Humes High School in 1954.  His interests were electronics, music and theater. He served in the U.S. Army in the 188th Army Band where he played the trumpet. He went on to study radio and TV programming at the Don Martin School of Radio and Television Arts and Sciences in Hollywood, CA where he graduated. His life work included Radio Broadcast at varying midsouth stations and sales/ entrepreneurship in his own business.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Tina Higgins Yarbrough; his daughter, Laura Crone (Jim); two sons, Edward Yarbrough (Tracy) and Daniel Yarbrough; six grandchildren, Jimmy Crone (Brooke), Joseph Crone (Adriana), Justin Crone (Lorrin), Brooks Delahaye (Jamie), Aaron Yarbrough, and Chris Yarbrough (Sweta); and four great grandchildren, Elijah Crone, Emerald Crone, Graysen Delahaye, and Gioia Delahaye. All whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Vida Yarbrough; two sisters, Louise Yarbrough and Ruby Nadolny; and eight brothers, Malcolm Yarbrough, Joseph Yarbrough, Paul Yarbrough, Frank Yarbrough, Charles Yarbrough, Vernon Yarbrough, Victor Yarbrough, and John Yarbrough.
