Bonnie Chapel Holmes, age 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a brief hospitalization.

She was a member of DeSoto Hills Baptist Church and a retired counselor with Central Church.

Throughout her life, Bonnie was involved in many activities that enriched the lives of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by husbands John H. Wallace and Kendrick Holmes, parents Rex and Ola Chapel, sisters Virginia Highfill and Betty Cann, daughter Wanda Siverd (Mark), and great-granddaughter Charlotte McCollum.

She is survived by daughters Bonnie Jones (Randy) and Cindy Reaves (Dennis), all of Southaven, and a brother, Norman Chapel (Pat) of Olive Branch. She was blessed by 8 grandchildren: Kay Davis (Chuck), Maurie Wright (Brian), Justin Siverd (Nicole), Jordan Siverd (Julie), Amanda McCollum (Timothy), Sarah Hereth (Robbie), Mary Dickerson (Caleb) and Molly Reaves. She was further blessed by 10 great-grandchildren: Jackson Wright, Cooper Wright, Steele Siverd, Bess Siverd, Walker Siverd, Jacob Siverd, Elijah Hereth, Leila Hereth, Dax McCollum and Miles McCollum.

Visitation will be at DeSoto Hills Baptist Church, 4680 Getwell, Southaven MS, Friday, December 6th, at 11:00 am with services to follow at 12:00.

Forest Hill Funeral Home has charge.
