Obituary

Brady Don Carr, 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Rossville, TN on December 2, 2022.
Brady was a Christian and attended Piperton Baptist Church in Piperton, TN. Brady was born on May 11, 1950 in Bryan, TX to Paul and Barbara Carr. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam War, he moved to Waco, TX. In 1978, Brady started working for M&M Mars in Waco where he worked until he retired in 2003. He then moved to Rossville, TN.
Brady was an avid BBQ cook who competed in many top BBQ championships including Memphis in May and Kansas City. He won 1 st place in the "anything but" category with beer can chicken at Memphis in May in 1994, as well as, many other cooking awards throughout his
cooking career.
Brady is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Barbara Carr of Cleveland, TX and his sister Paula Carr of Cleveland, TX. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Anne Carr of Rossville, TN, his daughter Christy Alleman (Brian) of Robinson, TX, his step-son Tommy Johnston (Melissa), Rossville, TN, his step-daughter Kathy Dyson (Todd), Lakeland, TN, one step-granddaughter Ashley Armstrong (Drey). He is also survived by four step-grandsons Chase, Tyler, and Brennen Dyson and Connor Johnston and one step-great grandson Hayden Dyson.
