Brenda Gale (Weeks) Billings, age 70, born on January 10, 1950 in Campbell, MO, departed this world on August 13, 2020 in Independence, MO surrounded by her loving family.  Brenda was the daughter of Joseph B. Weeks and Myrtle (Gregg) Pitts who both preceded her in death, along with her step-father Roy Pitts.  She married Melvin (Jack) Billings on Sept. 16, 1988.  He preceded her in death on August 12, 2012.  She is survived by her sister, Louise Wagster, whom she lived with in Independence, MO, her twin bother Joe Weeks and his wife Carla Weeks of Wichita, KS, a special niece/daughter Michelle (Harper) Petree and her family of Independence, MO, and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Interment will be at Forest Hill Home and Memorial Park- East in Memphis, TN.  A  graveside service will be held there at 10 a.m. on Friday August 21, 2020 with Randall Baker of Campbell, MO officiating.
