OLIVE BRANCH, MS - Brenda Fletcher, 78, passed from this worldly life to a triumphant life eternal on December 29, 2021, from hospice at Methodist Hospital, Olive Branch. She was born on February 24, 1943, in Oxford, MS, the daughter of Elvis C.and Annie Bertha (Arnold) Billingsley. Brenda graduated from high school in Como. MS, and attended Wood Junior College in Mathiston, MS. She was happily married to Howard Michael Fletcher, Sr. for 39 years until his death last year. Brenda was a wonderful, loving mother to her two children Edward E. Belk, Jr. and Angelia Hope Belk Lowery. In addition to her husband and parents, Brenda was predeceased by a brother Ronald Elvis Billingsley and his wife Elizabeth Stewart as well as a sister Donice Kay Billingsley and a dearly beloved grandson, Jacob Lowery. She is survived by her son and his wife Carla (Warfield) of Madison, MS; her daughter and her husband Tony of Olive Branch, MS; her brother Kenneth Max Billingsley of Hot Springs Village, AR.; and her sister Susan Lynn Baze of Midland, TX. Brenda leaves her grandchildren Katherine Belk Clarkson (Levi), Kandace Belk Calvert (Regan), Keaton Belk, Amber Lowery Glenn (Chris), Jena Lowery Johnsey (Michael), Brad Spencer (Karie), Jordan Spencer, Michael Fletcher, Erin Fletcher and also, five great grandchildren. In addition, Brenda leaves step-children Howard Michael Fletcher, Jr. (Jean), Kathy Fletcher Spencer (Curt) and Alicia Fletcher Gilbert (Don).She had many different crafts and skills in which she worked but her passion was loving and serving her Lord and Savior along with her family and friends. Flowers and gardening were her panacea for joy and peace. She always had a dog as a pet to love and pamper. Her last love, a maltipoo named Swayze, will miss her snuggles. Being a part of Getwell Church in Southaven and participating in Bible Studies, small groups, mission trips and other ministries was her highest priority and the center of her Christian life. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 11:30am to 1:00pm with a service of remembrance to be held immediately after at Getwell Church, 7875 Getwell Road, Southaven, MS 38672
