Obituary

Brenda Joyce Yarbrough Fowler, 83, of Munford, Tennessee passed peacefully from this life at home on September 30, 2026. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on August 11, 1943.

She is a beloved wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and faithful servant of God who loved her Savior, her church and her family.

Brenda leaves behind her wonderful, loving husband of 66 years, Troy, and her three boys, Tony (Cheryl), Tim (Pam), and Tregg (Pam).

She was a devoted grandmother (Granny) to Angelina (Ben), Timothy (Katie), Bridgett (John), Olivia (Chandler), Madeline (Raven), Parker, and Garrett.

Granny loved being with her five great-grandchildren: Daisy, Emily, Asher, Noah and Silas. There are countless more that called her "Granny" and she cherished them all.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert (Daddy Bob) Yarbrough and Myrtle L. (Mamma Lois) Yarbrough (also married for 66 years), and her sister Sheila Donaldson.

She is survived by her sister, Bobbi Cornett, brothers Don (Joyce) Yarbrough and Rob (Anita) Yarbrough; along with many dearly loved nieces, nephews and their spouses.

Brenda was a faithful and treasured member of First Baptist Church of Atoka for 30 years, where she loved to worship and sing.

Though she is no longer with us, the life she lived, the testimony she leaves, and the love she gave will continue on through her children, grandchildren, family and friends,

Thank you for joining us today in her wonderful, love-filled celebration of life.

Viewing will be held on October 6, 2026 from 10-11 with the celebration of life service to follow at 11 at First Baptist Church of Atoka, 102 Kimbrough Drive, Atoka, Tennessee.

Graveside service is reserved for the grandson pallbearers, as follows: Timothy C. Fowler, Parker Fowler, Garrett Fowler, John Niggl, Raven Gatchalian, Chandler Cain.
