Brenda Richey Holmes of Bartlett, Tennessee went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 14, 2021.  She was born in Forrest City, Arkansas on January 4, 1948 to Ora and Elaine Richey.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley "Sonny" Richey, and her parents, Ora and Elaine Richey.

Brenda retired in 2013 from McDonnell Insurance.  She was a long time member of Graham Heights Baptist Church which later became Still Waters Baptist Church under the direction and leadership of her pastor, Bro. Don Amburn, whom she loved dearly.

Brenda considered every member of Still Waters Baptist Church to be a member of her extended family.  She was devoted to serving her church.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley Stewart; her loving husband of 52 years, Terry Holmes; Two children, Gerald Wayne Holmes (Stephanie), Kimberly Michelle Ivey (Andy); Five grandsons, Matthew Holmes (Lindsey), Wesley Holmes (Danielle), Thomas Ivey, Benjamin Ivey, and Wyatt Ivey.  She is also survived by her two fur babies, Benji and Maggie.
