Brenda Hallmark Lewis, of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi, was born on July 9, 1947, in Moulton, Alabama. On August 21, 2025, she peacefully entered her heavenly home at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Brenda dedicated 42 years of service to Sacred Heart Southern Missions before retiring in December 2023. She was known for her unwavering love of family, her kind and gentle spirit, and the joy she found in simple pleasures, especially playing Bingo.

She was welcomed into eternity by her beloved husband, James Lewis; her parents, Ema Lou and Bob Yancey, and Odell and IV Hallmark; her son-in-law, Rick Braswell; and her precious great-granddaughter, Lindy Ward. What a beautiful reunion they must be celebrating together.

Brenda's memory will be cherished by her loving daughters, Patti (Clint) Ketchum of Coldwater and Ashley Braswell of Lake Cormorant; and her brother, Ron (Beth) Hallmark of Franklin, Tennessee. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Chad Massey, Jennifer (Jeremy) Ward, and Jimmy Braswell; and her great-grandchildren, Kaley, Gabe, Grady Cash, Emma, and Molly.
