Brenda Darlene Wicker, 71, left this earth on September 23, 2021 to be with her heavenly father. She is
preceded in death by her parents, Gilford and Aileen Hart, and her brother, Gilford James Hart Jr. She
leaves behind, David Wicker Sr., her son David Wicker Jr. (Shanda), grandsons, Jackson and Mason, and
her daughter Melissa Hester (Matthew). She is also survived by her brother Carl Hart (Terrie). Her love
carries on to a multitude of extended family and friends that she cared for deeply.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Darlene spent much of her time with her family and enjoyed
traveling with them for family vacations. She will be laid to rest on October 5, 2021 at Forest Hill East
Funeral Home on Whitten Road. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. with funeral and interment to follow.
