Brian Lee Carter, 52, residing in Arlington, TN, passed away September 10 ^th , 2022

He leaves his wife, Tracy Bryant Carter; his parents, William and Margaret Carter; his brother, Scott Carter; his sister, Lynette Kirk; and his daughter Ashley Carter.

Brian was born in Savannah, GA into the life of an Army Brat. He graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1988 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and minor Math and Computer Science from the University of Memphis in 1992. After leaving Texas for Tennessee in 2019 he was hired by Robert Half to represent them as a software engineering consultant to outside firms.

Brian loved to sing karaoke and go out dancing. He also had a great love of animals leaving behind Luna, Sadie, Pixie and Riley. It was easy to see early on in his life that he had a special soul. In 1975 the 319 ^th Field Artillery Battalion hosted a Christmas party for the kids on Base. When it was Brian's turn to sit on Santa's lap, Santa asked him if he had been a good boy all year. Brian half grinned and said no, not really.  His honesty and kind heart stayed with him until the end.

When he was 12, he played football at Fort Rucker Alabama. His team did not win a game. Brian was awarded the only trophy that the league awarded. It was the" sportsmanship trophy", all the players in the eighth-grade team league voted. He was a beast on the football field as a running back during his school years, and an avid fan of all Razorback sports.

The celebration of life memorial will be held Saturday, September 24 ^th , 2022, 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Midtown  1661 S. Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis TN 38106.
