Buford Dillon "Bubba" McCalman, 80, of Memphis, TN, stepped into heaven on February 28, 2015. He was born on September 17, 1934 to Roy and Helen McCalman in Memphis, TN. Mr. McCalman graduated from MS College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was a commercial art instructor at Tennessee Technology Center and a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Mr. McCalman is survived by his wife of 61 yeas, Dorothy McCalman; six children, Pamela Castellaw (Mark), Michael McCalman (Toya), Rodney McCalman (Cheryl), Randy McCalman, Donna Dampeer (Charlie), Teresa McCalman; two sisters, Ramell Dobbs of Southaven, MS, Betty Wofford of Waverly, TN; twelve grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Frank McCalman; and a sister, Shirley Hancock. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 4 until service begins at 1 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Private interment will follow at Forest Hill South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Alzheimer''s Association.
