Callie Ellzey Green, 83, of Lakeland, TN, went to be with the Lord on June 12, 2012. She was born June 21, 1928 in Harrisburg, AR. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ralph Green, and is survived by her children, Beth Green and Jan and Dennis Bailey; her grandchildren, Brandy and Dennis Akins and Cassie and Don Turner; and her great-grandchildren, Alex and Avery Robertson. She is also survived by her siblings, Maxine Parker; Bud and Betty Ellzey; Wanda and Robert Walker; Paul and Norma Ellzey; and Brenda and Joel Bruner; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Green was a charter member of Raleigh Primitive Baptist Church and a retired real estate agent. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
